WHY A SENSUAL MOVEMENT PRACTICE?

Sensuality is the body language of the present moment. Sensuality is a type of mindfulness — it’s listening with your body. Connecting to sensual, pleasure-led movement invites you to discover and express the unique sensual-emotional language of your body and offers you a place to recharge within yourself. It’s about feeling your way through your body, letting go of perfectionism, and finding your own rhythm.

It takes bravery to allow feeling — to be filled with sensation. It’s a practice.

Through regular sensual movement practice, your body can become your most intimate ally and your truest nature begins to amplify.

WHAT TO EXPECT IN CLASS

Wild Heart Flow is fluid, circular, sensual, intuitive, and grounded. Blending practices from multiple lineages, including sensual dance, intuitive movement, and yoga asana, this class playfully explores how your unique body likes to move. We start by tuning into ourselves through breath, flow into slow, sensual guided movement meant to open our bodies, and eventually into free movement exploration with sensuality and pleasure as our guide. We close our practice with a grounding meditation and an opportunity to share heart-to-heart.

COME AS YOU ARE

Each class includes structured and free movement, meaning no prior experience in dance or other movement is necessary for practice. We practice setting shame and judgment aside and trusting that there is no wrong way to move or dance in this class.
